ZTE MF112 Bricked

Hi guys,

my mate has brought me his 3g dongle, he has tried to debrand it but has ended up bricking it, I don't know anything about unbricking dongles, does anyone have any ideas. When dongle is inserted into usb the light on the dongle comes on and the sound notification of inserted usb comes on but then nothing

the mf112 dont like being flashed dc unlocker and reflash it, when it was flashed first time he shld have backed up old file.

bricking anything dont mean cr*p as it just means a bad flash file or error in accepting the file. just keep reflashing till its sorted.

so you have tried it with the generic zte desktop? and the mobile partner? try with the original sim in it and the original desktop ie 3mobile as more than likely the old file is still on it and its unlocked but has a hidden lock in the 3mobile flash like a service provider lock on a mobile.........

post your results as i havnt had time to sort mine out yet...

As RayJay says, simply install a PC installed copy of ZTE's Join Air software.

If you still get no joy, unplug the modem and go into the installation directory of the ZTE Joir Air software. Locate the two driver install packages one is 32 bit and one 64 bit. Run the appropriate install manually and re-insert the modem.
