yes it on 3G, ive messed about and the max im getting is 1.75mb now,

You need to see a signal strength of at least -70dBm or in Huawei Dashboard this is around 95% or so.

The real world figure is much lower than the claimed theoretical speed!

I use a 28mbps capable modem here but get on average 2.5 - 3mbps. I can see my local 3G cell tower from my office and my signal is -63dBm which is as close as you get to 100%!

If you try on a clear day and at 3.30am with no one around, you might get higher!
