Tablets! what to look for?

I am after a tab.. wondering what are the key points to look out for.. processor, hdmi out etc
Recommendations too if you can.. quality rather than cheap.
Trouble is there are too many out there. Some (the blue ones) even give you a hard on.

The Galaxy Tab is brilliant!

Far easier to work with than the iPap and it support SMS and USSD which the iPap doesn't!

Good build quality, Android & much less than the iPap.

Yeah it did catch my eye in Currys. but there were a number of models, ?150 to 300 ish.
