N95 freeze up

Just been given an N95 which freezes up and the battery has to be removed to turn it off, this happens quite often and seems to work better when the batt has been left out for a while then put back in, its running early firmware and im waiting for the unlock code from orange then im gona try updating the firmware, unless anyone has any other ideas???

just upgrade the firmware if you have a working sim

Google nemesis service suite+N95, this will let you update to the very latest firmware without waiting on any unlock codes m8.

upgraded the firmware to v31 the phones spot on now,, only thing now iv installed tomtom on it and when i launch it i just get the spinning globe, tried all kinds,, any ideas?
