May be you could try a Factory Reset:

Enter Service Menu.
Use this to Enter your Alcatels Service Menu.
Type *#000000#
"Star, Hash, Zero, Zero, Zero, Zero, Zero, Zero, Hash" on your handsets keypad.

Master Reset (Sim In Phone).
Use this to Master Reset your Alcatel with a sim card inside.
Type ###337*07#
"Hash, Hash, Hash, Three, Three, Seven, Star, Zero, Seven, Hash" on your handsets keypad.

Factory Reset (Sim In Phone).
Use this to Factory Reset your Alcatel with a sim card inside.
Type ###847#
"Hash, Hash, Hash, Eight, Four, Seven, Hash" on your handsets keypad.

I haven't tried these codes on new Alcatel phones!
