Mate getting the same error for this map too.

            My process,

            1. Download map from the link
            2. Connect the TT to the laptop. Selecting to connect to the laptop on the TT.
            3. Run the .exe file.
            4. Provide the path of the TT for installation. I have no external SD.
            5. The installation is completed but I get no confirmation. Only an antivirus alert at the end which I ignore.
            6. I restart the TT and it starts with the old map.

When I try to switch the maps, it fails.

You must turn off anti virus before you install. If I have my anti-virus on, it will not install

Also make sure that your unit is compatible with your navcore and there is a meta present

What map number and name are you trying to download. What navcore are you using?

It is compatible with yur unit. Make sure that ttsystem and ttgo.bif files are in the spot where you are installing files. Turn off anti-virus. It should work.

The files are present in the root directory of the TT.

I tried with another os (Win7), but still the same message.

i am having a doubt that the internet download at the end of the install is not going well. Any way to check that. The splash screen are too quick.

If the install went properly, you will see that a meta-dct file will be created

Then it did not install correctly. If you know how, try manual install.
