free paid for apps for blackberry?

Hi all is there anywhere I can get free paid for apps for blackberry? I updated the phone and its scrubbed google maps and in app world they want 6 quid for it!

App World should (in theory) know what you have had in My World!

It was already installed when I got the handset so I didn't get it through app world I olny lost it when I uopdated the software

If it was network installed, try going to BlackBerry desktop manager and update apps.

That doesn't matter as BB DTM will give the option to load the original software/apps that are missing....

tried going through bb desktop software but never gave me an option just told me what software was installed and what i can install and google maps wasnt in the list

Google Maps should be free! Take a look at Google instead of App World...

got it from m.google.com but it doesnt work go to launch it and it trys to load t n c`s then comes up with unexpected error please close and restart try that and it keeps happening also tried removing it and reinstalling but still the same tried deleting service books and nothing also found out that my msn isnt workin any more says service not enabled on this handset

yea can access the internet and use bbm plus everything else

MSM has either finished or is about to finish, they are advising to use Skype messaging instead!

You could have a look at crackberry.com and I'd suggest getting a copy of BBSAK from here: BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife

Do take a little care with the Wipe Function or you'll end up with a device with no OS. Not the end of the world (that's in a few days!) but time consuming if you do it in error!

With BBSAK you can download and upload COD files quite easily.

Skype can usually be used on devices that are not capable of Video and Audio but in Messaging mode, thus it replaces MSM.

BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife (BBSAK) does everything BB Desktop Manager doesn't do! Including downloading and uploading of COD (application) files!

Thanks jim ill checl it out unrelated tho don't suppose you know how to change the settings for the phone turning off radio when the battery gets to a certain level? It switched off the radio at 55% can't remember how to change it?
