My daughter had her phone lost or stolen about 2 weeks ago we had it blocked by phone network but today she has come home from school saying her friends have seen her pin active and again.

looks like phone has been unlocked but it still keeps the same bbm pin. is thier any way of tracing it through bbm pin now they reactivated it?

Some UK networks are not good at updating their Central Equipment Register (CER) but it should drop all UK networks eventually.

You can't change the IMEI but if the phone is taken to France or Spain etc., once outside of the UK it will work.

If your daughter setup and used BlackBerry Protect, then logging onto the BlackBerry protect account will give the phones location (if switched on) and enable you to send message to the screen of the phone like "This phone is Stolen" for example... Plus (and I love this) you can reset the phone over the air and this will wipe the handset completely every time! I know someone who did this every day until the thief (or buyer) gave up using the phone!!
