I think you must be mistaken! BB5 SL3 require massive processing power, usually a a few dozen PC's in parallel to calculate the code from a log file read from the phone! Even this method can take between 12 and 40 hours!

May be you could post a link to where the code was given and we'll try to sort out your confusion...
