unlocking blackberry curve 9360

trying to unlock (network) blackberry curve 9360
ive downloaded both unlocking prgrammes on here but none are getting information from phone
so i downloaded bbloggerpc but that wont get information either

i think they wont get the information because phone is on 7.1 firmware

would i have to downgrade to 6.x firmware to unlock then update to use on latest firmware or is there easier way to unlock phone

You can't downgrade to V6 or you'll kill the handset.

These (9320, 9360 & 9790 etc) all use new security and there is nothing available for free as yet!

The PRD should be on the IMEI label on the phone under that battery...
