Most have the IMEI on the device it's 15 digits long and starts with 35.

Otherwise you can go into your dashboard software and get the modems IMEI via the diag's or info menu.

Some E1550 can not be unlocked by code! Try downloading a generic dashboard and if still no joy you'll need to use a service something like Dc-unlocker | Huawei U1280, U7510s, U7519, iNQ Chat 3G,voice enable for E156, E160, E180, E1550

You can't unlock the E220 for free by code!

You can use Dc-unlocker | Huawei U1280, U7510s, U7519, iNQ Chat 3G,voice enable for E156, E160, E180, E1550

or

got those files , updated the modem but how do i get the correct codes , I notice there is a hex editor in this pack of files do I need to convert it ?
