why would you want to install any providers software? Just download nokia PC suite from the Nokia site and up grade the firmware and software on their for a start.. You can call Orange and ask them to send you their server settings for sms/mms etc.

    or

    Code:
    http://www.orange.ch/vrtstatic/en/residential_support_mobile-phone-setup.html

It can be done by flashing either Orange branded firmware or unbranded firmware if you prefer. It is not something that the end user can do easily as using the Nokia update service will simply just update the existing Vodafone branded firmware.

As a minimum you would need to alter the product code of your handset to match that of another N95 8G with the particular flavour of firmware that you want. The product code can be found on the IMEI label and starts 05xxx.

A tool like NSS can change the product code, you'll find it here: B-phreaks Online Shop, Your Source For Mobile Phone Unlock Solutions

Click on downloads and download Nemesis Service Suite Beta.

You will need a USB cable, read the product, edit it and then write the new one back to the phone. After this is done you can use Nokia PC Suite to update the phone firmware.

All of the usual caveats apply!
