nokia 5800 pixilating???

is anyone else having the problem of a pixelating screen on there nokia 5800? i keep having to turn my phone on and off at least 4 times before i can see anything on my screen propaly
and while im here does anyone know how to clean dirt fron under the screen. i have a patch of dirt that is anoying me from the moment i got the phone

At your own risk: 5800 Xpress Music disassembly

I would check that the LCD is plugged in fully and if it is OK, suspect that a new LCD is required! Then it's off to E-Bay!!

have attempeted to take the phone apart and it has not helped. im at my wits end now. i cant afford another phone. need to fix this one. any other help will be welcomed.

It's also worth asking around to see if anyone has a 5800 sitting around! Odd but you'll be shocked what some people leave sitting in drawers gathering dust! May be someone has one with a network fault but has a good LCD still...
