    Blackberry 8520

    ok i got really exited when i gt my new blackberry asit is my first one.
    And now the screen has broke :/ thinking about a bit of DIY right now soo think im gonna have ago if not phone shop it is, and what has happened is i have white lines all over my screen P10-05-10_17-15.jpg and im thinking i need a new screen but when i touch the screen all the lines go and then a second later they all come back :/ i have looked at the new screens and they are about ?20 but they have numbers next too them and i cant find out how too find out what number mine is :/ iff anyone knows how too find out, thanks in advance also sorry about the poor picture quality

    At a guess the LCD layers have seperated. If you didn't drop it I'd try claiming on the warranty first.

    The problem you will have is that you need to get an exact match for your current LCD. There will be a serial number on the underside for the screen. You need the same serial number.

    I think there's someone on ebay that lists the details for each blackberry lcd.

      so is there no way i can sort it out? or will i have too buy another one?

        Find a UK seller on EBay and check your model number with them. Many traders selling LCD's on EBay will even supply tools and instructions with the new display!

        My guess is you screen is cracked around the data connections and tinkering with it will probably finish it off!
