Hi!

I am new to this forum. On my model it was written on the back of the device. But i have seen that your model does not have it there.

What i have seen while i tried to flash mine, is that the firmware update tool shows you the IMEI. So i would suggest you to download it, start it and when it detects the device, you will see the IMEI number. At least that was it fo my model (E122).

You have a E122 but he has a EC122 and the latter is CDMA, that means not GSM/UTMS and as such this has a ESN (electronic serial number) like analogue phones did back in the 90's in Europe!

I have another HuaWei USB modem, I need the unlock code.

Model: HuaWei E153u-2
IMEI: 352374043179202

Another problem is that the CD-emulator is having problem, driver cannot be read or install. All the files name can be listed out, but cannot run or copy out.

Is there any way that I can repair / restore / completely delete it away?

Please post the result on this code as the E153 is quite new, if it doesn't work don't keep trying!

Autorun from the CDROM emulation can be turned on and off. Rather than get you to type long codes using Windows Hyper terminal you'd be best to download a copy of MDMA here:

Establish the COM Port that your device is using in Device Manager under Modem of course!

If you modem is using say COM 6 then run MDMA like this:

MDMA /port:COM6 /u2diag:1
