    found lg viewty but

    had it unlocked to accept any network. inserted new sim into it with credit on. phone functions, but is unable to make or recieve calls is it able to do so or has it had it? thank you. ps it was found at beach and it contains no personal id or contacts on handset. it is a spanish sounding network and as it was my last few hours in the country i hadnt time to find a police station to hand it in.

              If it was reported lost then the host network will bar/blacklist the IMEI, but this will only have an effect in the home country.

              So if you found it in Spain & live in Germany then it should work after being unlocked.

              Other than that it's ~~~~ed from a hardware point, i.e. water damage.

                  oh well easy come easy go . thanks for comments guys. could it not still be used as mp3 player, camera etc?
