    Blackberry bold 9000 problems!

Hi was wondering could I egt some help. I have a BB 9000 when I put the battery in red light comes on for about 10 seconds then knocks off if I push any button on the phone what happens is the trackball lights up then second later the laypad then the screen but I can't see anything.

It's a bright colour it's like a very light green / white colour. I thought it was the screen but I tried the screen in a mates phone and it worked I have the rigth screen for mine just phone doesn't work it won't turn off then intil I take battery out.

I tried removing screws and pressing around the screen but still nothing.

Think you'll need to take it in for repair.

Just so you know this...... All Blackberrys when turned off do not turn off. They just go into a power saving mode. If you want to turn it off you have to remove the battery & leave it out.

Your problem sounds like water damage or software issue.

Either, but I'd try the official route first. If it comes back as water damaged & not covered by the warrenty, try an unlocking shop with a good reputation

          RE:

I think you should take it to a repair shop to get fixed. I had the same particular issue and did the same thing.

I used this repair company called: blackberryplace.com

          pretty good.

hope this will be of help to you.
