Help with Huawei 8220 SIMLOCK block unlock reset key

Hi, i am visiting europe and i am in Macedonia at the moment. I am trying to help a mate which tried to unlock his phone for it to be enabled to be used with other carriers. I am not sure what he did but apparently he sourced a flash code and a unlock code from the net and now the phone is asking for the SIMLOCK block unlock reset key.

Hope someone can help. ( i dont think previous threads are related to our problem)
