hi guys was thinking of getting one of these for my 10 year old son for christmas, could any kind soul look at the link and tell me, if he would be able to view facebook and poptropica and play the usual games ten year olds do on it, or is it basically a web browser.

Not too sure on games for a 10 yar old as have many years before my son gets there but other stuff yes, but have a look on ebay many sellers selling same product for less and some are giving a wallet with built in keyboard aswell

Well, the price looks like a great deal, but 1.7 OS a little suck. Take a look here: Android Tablet

yes mate it runs on Android so your son will be able to access facebook, he will also have access to the facebook market which will allow him to download games for a cost and for free.

heogey nice link.... if its UK based. Which i doubt as its in dollars.

Both probably a bit late on this link seen as it was for a christmas present but if not shop around for the latest android version tabs. If it was me I would prefer android over Ipad as ive had the iphone and the mrs has the itouch.

Dont get me wrong i still love my ipod and would love to see any other mp3 player beat it :P
