samsung tocco lite problem

bought a tocco lite the other day and cant connect it to my pc using usb and the samsung pc studio software.the wife has one and hers is fine. when i connect it windows xp pro recognizes a new usb hardware but fails to find a driver.i have a memory card installed. the phone gives three connection options media player, pc suite and mass storage.i can access the memory card under mass storage but the phone isnt recognised.both other options draw a complete blank.anyone know of a work around.tried the net but got no working answer.cheers in advance

you should delete the other program i.e the wifes , the software changes every minute just coz they look the same outside it should then load the program from your phone the newer version of the software should do both good luck

tried it m8.even ran the update.hers still works mine will probably have to go back unless someone knows different

Try downloading the two pieces of software from the Samsung site.

Uninstall the current software, restart the PC then install version 1.5.1.10064_2

If it still doesn't work go to

Settings > Control Panel > System

Click for Hardware > Device Manager

With the phone plugged in search the bottom of the list for the USB device that refers to the phone.
Remove the drivers then remove the phone from the USB cable. Close the device manager & plug the phone back in.

With luck it will find the correct drivers & install them. If not try to install via the device manager, point it towards the PC Suite program files/drivers.
