Not fitted one myself before I purchased mine I planned to but now that I own one do not see the need for it. I use Samsung SpinPoint HDD's in my receivers they are good at staying reasonably cool.

I installed one in My ET9000 only because its right below where the hard drive sits and i thought it would keep it cool and it did i installed mine so cold air would blow up and hit the hard drive as well as disperse around the rest of the chasis and surprisingly it worked.

Just incase your wondering the fan has to be 60mmx60mmx10mm 5v not easy to find but if your going to install one well heres one FAN only ?1.99 plus a quid postage from china at that price you might as well get 2 and have a spare i did.

Yep just screws to the bottom of where the hard drive fits, The plug on it is a little tight but it does go on the supplied fan connector.

if you do order one it is the 5V Fan for the ET

Forgot about this, but I have my fan and I want to fit it as I have noticed it getting warm at some points.

The fan never came with screws so not sure how to fix it? How does it fix?

              Thanks,

              FP.
