I am sorry but what you are asking cannot be discussed in great detail on this forum, What i will say is if you have the ET9500 then comparing that to an F3 would be smilar to comparing a reliant robin (F3) to a Rolls Royce (ET9500)

It will do everything you need and a 1000 times more when you read through a few of the guides in the Enigma2 section/Dreambox Section

The only difference is on the Xtrend you will load images Via USB similar to the F3 everything else is done via Telnet and FTP exactly the same as a dreambox so all the guides apply apart from how to flash the firmware
