Xtrend ET9500 V 8000

Hi all

I as looking to get a ET9500 for a friend like mine but it seems to be discontinued or expensive at the moment. Could anyone tell me if the 8000 is any better/worse than the 9500?

I know the 8000 has space for an extra tunner but anything else?

The Old ET9500 is only a Twin Plug & Play receiver and runs a Dual core 405mhz processor, the ET8000 is the latest model with 3 x Plug & Play tuners and runs a Dual Core 1300mhz processor.

I think the price drop on the Et9500 to around ?129 was to shift old stock, stick with the ET8000
