humax freesat HD volume question.

i've been watching the football on ITV hdmi 1080i but i noticed that the volume was fine then all of a sudden it goes low then gradually goes back up.it happens when the commentators speak.
now im not sure if it the humax box or if its the broadcast cause it sounds like there tonnes of compression and it condensing the background crowd so giving president to the commentors then when thewy stop it goes back up till they speak again.
might not seem much but it ~~~~in annoys like shit after 1 - 1/2 of a game.
does anyone know if its the box or the broadcast set up ?.

i have been watching the itv hd broadcast and all seemed fine to me.
but will pay more attention to the next hd broadcast and let you know if i find anything wrong.
