hi i am having sky installed next week and wanted to know if i can get a box or a card for all the channels etc .if this helps i am having the best internet they got and the black hd box thanks

so you want to cardshare, over sky's broadband network.. nice move..

there is no cardshare chat here in this forum but one piece of advice.. don't do it if you have Sky broadband, they can tell..

there is no magic chipped box or fancy card..

no wasnt going to do that cardshare thing.just wanted to know if u could get a box etc as i had a starview for my virgin and it worked great until nag.just not sure what to do thanks

your best bet is to cancel install, get a sky dish fitted by yourself or another installer, ?50 supplied and fitted in my area. get any broadband bar sky, and get dreambox and google cs. basic rubbish on sky will cost you ?20 a month, but on cs you can get full sub for less than half that.

hi mate, as mark says cancel sky, get a local installer to fit a 80cm-1m motorised dish, get your self a spiderbox or something like that. plenty of advice here & elsewhere how to set it up. if you are after the football then all the games & more are available on other satellites. get virgin back for your broadband. DO NOT GO WITH SKY. it's a bit more money outlayed but a massive saving in the long run. hope this helps
