    New receiver needed, pls

    Hello,
I used to be ?a satellitetvhobby-ist? when it was an easy thing to watch almost everything that was in the air at the time? The things started changing ? always new cards, always new files, always new cams, then even that gave u almost nothing and even what u get was freezing? I tried to get some official cards but some were not available, others were too expensive and not what I needed. I got tired of all this and one day I got official Strong receiver with TNT card? plus open air channels from Hot Bird and Astra 19?, that?s it.
Now it feels like time has come to change an old receiver for something better. I tried to check out what is what now and? got completely lost. Receivers now are permanently connected to internet and even to PCs. what?s that for? We have at home ADSL Ethernet router and naturally internet connection, not very fast I think (about 5,50 Mbps download/712 Mbps upload) and sometimes not very stable.
OK, new receiver. What I need is HD receiver which, in case if I can not do that ?modern internet based channel receiving stuff ?, still could give me possibility to use official cards (my TNT card and if I find providers who will sell just what I need and not everything what they want to sell me?) and quality HD receiving. I don?t care much for movies but I like sport, tennis in particular. As I already said I have 2 satellites ? Hot Bird and Astra 19?. Good tennis channels like Canal+Sport, Sport+, Eurosport1/2, may be some other sport channels (in case when just mentioned channels would not transmit certain tournaments) would do?
They say SpiderBox HD 9000+Gift is all right, as also DreamBox and Technomate. Something else? Price I guess MUST start from 100EURO ?
Hope to get some help from those who knows
    thnx in advance

get yourself a spiderbox 9000hd as this will give you plenty of channels via service+ on astra/hotbird and will also allow you to use a official card if you wish. there very easy to set up and have a very good hd picture. regards mdt

                be ok :-)

Spiderbox 9000 will give you instant access to movies/sport etc in glorious hd.
Takes 10 mins to set up and away you go.
Unless you are using cs openbox is just a fta stb with slots.
