    sky dish installation

    Got my sky zone 1 dish through the mail today from a guy on ebay, it includes, the reflector, the lnb the 4x wall fitting bolts f connecters, 20m HQ cable & 2x cable tidies, stuck on the installation and assebely of it.

      Thanks, But no use, i have a zone 1!!!
      Dish, Im only 14 and it ent easy to understand, also many 14 year olds don't have the highest of patients !!

        If you don't want it to be fixed to 28.2 you've purchased the wrong dish.

        Best bet is a zone 2 dish with monoblock for 13e and 19.2

            Sorry then!

            28.2 is easy enough, just look where other dishes beside you are pointed. and use a cheap sat meter.

                Thanks for your help all, But i was just wondering, Could i connect lnb etc up, get someone to shout when i get quality bar, and then tighten tighten things up / adjust things or what

                  you could.... but to be honest unless you could see the tv screen yourself it would be next to impossible and would really test your patience..... i would advise you to get a cheap inline meter to help you peak the dish. you should be able to get one for under a tenner.

                      just googled cheap satellite meter and one came up on amazon.co.uk and there is a satellite finder kit there for ?10.05 but you should be able to get one in any good tv shop. have a look on google and you will know what your looking for. you connect it out by the dish with a fly lead which will prob come with the meter
