    All this foreigness

    Hello,
    Been thinking about all the different foreign sat providers. Can anyone suggest the best one and a good retailer, or prices that I could expect?

      Well it depends what you are after, you want a viewing card from abroad, is that what you mean ?

          Having seen many places in town showing lives sports but not from sly sports I am intersted in seeing what the costs would be to buy this type of service?

          It is mainly for the sports channels to be honest but for British sport.

              ur best bet is probably a:

              > dreambox 500 (?50-?60) or dreambox 800hd (?170 approx)

              > 1 meter motorised dish (?80-?100)

              > monthly sub for local and european sutff (?10-?15 per month) **** google c/s

                  Just to elaberate abit on what sean said there,
                  A dreambox is a Linux receiver that enables you to connect to a server in witch your box connects to and unscrambles channels, we cant talk of this on the forum as its illegal and is strictly prohibited on this site, this is called " card sharing " google it or p/m me for info on that mate.

                  You would also need a 1Meter or bigger MOTORISED satellite dish, The dish needs a motor on to drive it to other foreign satellites that show the game, for example if Liverpool Vs Stoke isn't on sky on 28.2East ( the astra satellite ) then you could turn the dish to 5East automatic from your receiver where the game will be showing on viasat sweden in english commentary and good picture !

                  The " subscription " you pay for is the connection to a server that decrypts all the channels that show football etc, aka " card share " as I have already spoke about above.
