Help linking sound system and dm

Ok i have a dm800hd which outputs via hd cable to tv the audio, now i have a Sony KDL-46EX713 which i want to use some kind of audio cable and connect into my Sony Dvd System DAV-DZ110 untill i get a new system. Now the DAV-DZ110 does not have a ddmi port or optical input however does have line input and scart input, now my idea is i want to keep my dm800 plugged into tv using the hdmi port and then use one of the out ports on the tv and use the line in function on the dvd system to output the sound via.

Im trying to work out what kind of cable i need so need ure help guys.

It seems the tv has DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) and some VAR/FIX port and the dvd player has Line Audio In port l and r jacks.

i use the optical out from box to amp/home system for sound,it depends if yours match as one is optical and the other a phono connection.
