Strange TP problem

Got a strange problem here.

My mate got a static Dish installed by a local company.

Now I got him a blade 7000HD as they are easy to use etc and he is clueless.

The problem is on the TP for film 4 / CH4 / More 4 10713 i think it is. It doesn't work.

When you go to the signal it fluctuates like made and never locks and says no or bad signal. So for a test I took the box home and tried it on My sky dish and my motorised and box works fine.

Now they were out to it yesterday and they said they cant see why its not working and of course they said its the box.

As far as I know that's the only TP affected.

I cant get my head round it at all. Going to take my Dm800 round later to test but just wondering if anyone ever came across something like this before.

Try skewing lnb.

More 4 :- 10729 | V | 22000 | 5/6

Cant get near it. I was going to install it for him my self as I do all the rest of my mates but where he wanted it was well out my reach of normal ladders.

They said they were coming back today and I told them to call me so I can be there.

Try them

I will give that a try, but that wouldnt explain why it would work when plugged in to mine tho.

My Dm800 shows same as ures but Blade is showing that and clears on the rest of my mates who have blades.

Suppose if its only 1 of a dif then it could work depending on strengh ?

Worth a try tho.

There are only 3 options
1.Receiver faulty
2.Dish slightly misaligned
3.lnb

Now we know receivers alright as you tried, so that leaves lnb or dish.
