    spiderbox 900hd

    I have been losing signal on some astra 2a 2d channels
    I will move to a different channel till I get a singnal and then move back to Itv and sometimes it works I get the channel back and this has happened and 12 times in the last month and any ideas welcome

    sounds like possible misalignment. are you using a fixed or motorised dish??... if motorised, usals or dis 1.2?? regards mdt

      I had the sipderbox 9000 box and motorised dish fitted at christmas by a shop in manchester and they set it a dis 1.2
      i no very little about setting these up and dont have a meter to check alignment

        go into the menu,s and try ajusting the motor position for astra2 slightly to peak the signal. dont worry you wont break it. have you had any heavy winds recently in your area??. regards mdt

              i have adjusted the dish in menu last night i and getting 90 and 98 on the blue and green s and q thing on itv now its th best it can go to and I will see how it goes another friend recons the lnb is faulty or could be faulty the way it loses signal completely and comes back on in 10 minutes or so

                you prob got water in your cable if not a lnb problem .........try connecting a new cable direct to your box without clipping it, you could just pass it through one of your windows just to test it then you will know if it is a cable problem, or if you have a sky dish then disconnect the cable from it and use that to test, and that will save you buying a new lnb.....good look.....BL

                  I have found the problem i have to use disqeq and and use drive and drive step and setup each sat i want to watch and store it
                  it seems i cant use usals it not setup right or something and thx for all your help
