just wanted know which is easier putting in and setting up 2.5 HD in dm800 or useing an external HD

I went the external way with my Dreambox 800 using a Seagate 500gb in an Icy Box and it was very straight forward setting it up.

hey bud, I just stuck an old lappy hdd in my dm800 and it's grand. If ya get one let us know how it goes.

i use external hd over usb and there fine any usb2 drive will be fine mine was literally plug and play all u need to do is let box format the drive
