Have a look at the Dreambox section mate its a minefield when you start so start by reading the red stickies at the top.

A simple pm wont help you as there loads to learn.
Decide on what box you want and what kind of dish and thats a start.
This is how we all started,no one will pop round and do it for you as its not plug and play like cable.

    Good luck

    Andy.

Dreambox is well suppoprted on here and other similar forums if problems arise or you need some advice.
The Dm 500 is a good starter box but most soon want hd and go for the Dm 800hd.
All depends on budget but i would recommend motor set up with Dm 800hd.
If you have quids by a Vu Duo Twin Tuner.

It's hard to say. It used to be C/S was a specialist subject. Only a very small number of people were doing it, and it required a lot of reading to understand, because of that it stayed under they radar for years!

Nowadays, since N3 on cable, tons of people have made the change to satellite CS and the numbers have increased exponentially. This has no doubt brought it firmly into the sights of the big satellite companies.

We know they're trying to combat CS, but we don't know when they'll be successful. The main softcam used CCCam isn't being developed anymore, so It could just be a matter of time before the CS avenue is closed. Hopefully not though.
