clean the lbn?

had the dish up 10 years + now
im getting a few brakups now and then , even on fta chs
im thinking the lbn could do with a wash , any one know if it will help before i try?

never ever ever washed a lnb ..just went and bought a new one .. they are quite cheap

Mate why not to wash it? is there any reason?
its easy for me to wash it but wont be easy for me to replace it as its hard to get to ,
i can streach out the window to wash it , but will been to get some one with a ladder to replace it.

I often clean mine the wet climate here often green stuff on them and yes it made a difference for me ?

give it ago then ..see if it works ...im saying ive never washed a lnb before ..never .

they usualy crack the plasic normally as they get worn anyway ..i find .. its pretty old yours being 10 years plus.

Give it a go, can't hurt, provided the connection(s) are adequately weatherproofed.

Though if you're dish has been up ten years, there's a good chance the LNB and/or cable are shot.

i would be replacing dish and lnb as i cant see the dish been as good as new,

i will see if i can stop a sky man in the street and give him a drink , im realy bad with this type of stuff .
