Are you running the latest version of BladeStream it should be v3.20.
And during the initial setup, you should have had the option of selecting a folder to connect too.

There is a tutorial available that demonstrates the whole setup procedure, but as it's located on another forum, I shall PM you the link too it.

                  BLADE STREAM
                  ------------

Blade Stream is very powerful software that runs on any Windows PC which will allow a BM7000s to connect direcly to that PC and stream movies, or download firmware or channel data files directly.

The software does not need any install. It is available at Blade Media in the support pages.

                  1. Simply unzip Blade Stream folder to desktop (or your chosen location) and run BLADE Stream.exe

                  2. Windows Firewall will ask you to allow access - say YES.

                  3. Next, on Blade Stream, click '...' button to browse to your media and channel file (.CDF) folder and click OK. Blade Stream will now minimise to the taskbar and is now ready to stream.

                  4. On your Blade Receiver, press PLAY (or F1) on the remote and press YELLOW to ADD OR SELECT SOURCE. Press Blue button to ADD or CONNECT. Here you type the local IP address of the PC that you just put the Blade Stream software on, for example 192.168.1.3 etc.

Once you enter this and press OK you will see the directory list of your media folder. Now you can play any movie from your PC just by selecting it, or load any firmware or channel files in the list.

Bring up a command prompt and type in "ipconfig" this will bring up your router ip which is often 192.168. Etc ending in 1 and also your your local ip which is the comp you are working at with your files stored on and dream stream. Not sure what ip you need for blade maybe both or just local. I know you have tried most of this but it is usually not the router ip but the local which if memory serves me correctly is ipv4 or something like that, I may be wrong I quite often am, that may be your router

the correct ip address is the local LAN one your pc is using and will be 192.168.xxx.xxx , so something like 192.168.0.3

it is not the blade ip address, and not the router ip address either

it is most definitely NOT your isp ip address as that is your internet access from your isp (the 77.97 one)

so you are looking to assign a folder on your computers ip LAN address where the blade can find the files it requires

so basic knowledge on LAN ip addresses is required here (local networking)

i have tried the ip but it still fails to connect don't know what to do now.

Ive made a folder dedicated to bladestream where ive put some avi files in to, when i click the '...' icon and assign the folder to bladestream and click ok it comes with an error message 'not found dll'

it didn't when i first assigned the folder couple of days ago.

maybe you havent unpacked the bladestream tool folder correctly ?
you should have a data folder in there containing dll and other files too
