    i can confirm this is the case.

    i had belkin ones and they didn't work in such a sittuation. but worked great on the same circuit.

        bought the xenta 200m
        cant seem to get them connected
        0 powerline detected
        they are in same room at the moment next to each pther on same extension lead still nothing

        any ideas

          Try plugging them directly into the wall sockets not extension leads.

              Silly question but you are plugging one into to your router and the other one into the box and have ticked DHCP in the network settings on the box and rebooted it
              is there a pairing button on them you might need to press both

                i have a blade 7000hd
                and i plugged into box and router with eth/leads
                i had a disc with these put that in loaded as it said
                but cudnt find these plugs on the power packet utilty

                where is dhcp on a blade box
                i have dhcp usage which is on

                  try using different ethernet leads, then just press buttons on bottom of plugs

                        Should have saved your self a few Notes mate
                        Plug Enthernet into your Lappy
                        Other end into your box
                        Go to Network Connections
                        Highlight Both Connections Right Click and Bridge
                        Job done no expense needed

                          But he would have to keep his lappy plugged into the box and switched on all the time which is not a good practicable solution Paul.
