spiderbox 7000hd- channels scrambled

Hi all, Bought a Spiderbox 7000hd about a week ago, set it up connected to router, service+ say connected and has login id etc, downloaded softcom files, channel lists etc but apart from usual fta channels from 28.2 everything is scambled, im lost!!!!. Im a novice but like a challange but this is doing my head in Should i do a factory reset and start again!!!

the spiderbox gift(service+) opens varoius channels on 19/16/13 east and 1 west but does not open the uk channels on 28.2e.. thats not to say that it cant as using the c**am/newcamd function and a sea-lion from a friend and the world is your oyster. regards mdt

Sorry i ment to say all other channels scrambled were on 19e etc and not just looking at 28.2 i know you cant get these, even channels with no encryption type are scrambled on these sats, feel i missed something stupid, thanks again

What kind of satellite set up have you? Motorised or multi lnb? Have you this set up correctly? You might have the box set up incorrectly, maybe you think you are pointing at 19 and it's pointing at a different sat. If this has happened it might say scrambled on fta channels.

Thanks hooley, just using a fixed dish which i moved to try out the box to see what it was like before i spend money on a motorised dish,It Is working now, just picked up a signal and thought that was that the first time, cheers again...
