In answer to your question;
1. the channels you will recieve are too many tol list but you could check this link to get an idea Packages - Europe, Africa & Middle East - LyngSat
2. You can get a card if you want to watch something particular such as film, footy or real ~~~~.
3. The box will descramble certain channels with the right keys and patches.

As for watching packages which are hacked you wont get far.. Many main packages have changed encryption and more and more are doing so by the day...a linux receiver would be best..
