Globalstar 11000 Full HD /3D - Issues

I have a Globalstar 11000 with a 0.8m motorised dish and free 'gift'. I am new to this but wanted to check should channels freeze on a regular basis or even not come on at all on a frequent basis. Also box itself freezes on a regular basis meaning the need to turn it on and off.

appreciate c/s means some freezing but wanted to get some views on whether other receivers do the same or could I expect better with a better box.

My signal is impaired by some large trees nearby but normally fine, when it is windy and wet signal is poor but other than that is there anything I can do to improve situation?

firstly the freezing could be down to overloaded server, software or both but is probably down to overloaded server. if you are loosing signal in wind/rain then depending on which sat/txp you are refering to it could be your dish isnt aligned properly or the dish isnt big enough. i have seen your stb on sale on a well known auction site but dont know to much about them. you really need a support forum for your perticular stb to get advice/software ect but you could try different software versions to see if that helps any. if you are thinking of replacing your box with a similar gift type box then id recommend the protek or the spiderbox. regards mdt
