how can i edit xml file

can any body help when i update my sats with latest up date how can i edit thge xml file so that the sats which i hve deletd which i dont want in dreambox sats list dont show up as the sat are there but the channels are greyed out if any body can understand what i am on about

Download dreambox edit and connect your box to the pc using a crossover cable, once you have set up the connection between your box and pc / laptop send your box list to dreambox edit and edit your list, there is a guide somewhere on dreambox edit.
