You wont get the channels unless your card has the entitlements no matter what box you pout it in.

Yes, but as stated I only pick up non premium channels abroad,I have been told that boxes are available that don't need the viewing card pairing with them (like the master box at home in the UK) and pick up sports and film channels as long as you subscribe to them in the UK

Yes i know and do just want a box that doesn't have to be paired with the white card which will pick up sports etc,

A receiver that runs OScam should be able to read your official card without the need to enter the box key (the box key is usually the part that stops premium channels from opening on a none paired receiver). With most cams you would need to first find your box key then manually enter it, how this is done would depend on the receiver and/or cam you use.

If the receiver runs OScam then it should be able to read your card and open all channels you have a valid subscription for including premium channels without the need to find and/or enter your box key. I can't confirm if this works for all receivers but it is confirmed as working on the QBox HD Mini, I can't see any reason this wouldn't also work on any other receiver providing it runs OScam but as I say I can't confirm this, but tried and tested on the QBox HD Mini and working fine!

And on a DM500, 800, 8000, 7025 and should be as you expected on most others.

Another alternative would be the spiderbox although you do need to enter the bk from the card but that takes seconds. There are stacks of boxes that read the card but OSCAM will read it without the need to enter the bk.
