    Protek Nano

Hi anyone have one of these boxes?
Is there no need for c/s the initial cost of the box is all that's needed. Have I got this correct??
Not bothered about HD running a SD Projector in converted garage to bar and have 13e lnb & soon 19.2e so this should give me access to sport on these satellites??
Is this long-term or temporary? ?

    Thanks

the protek server has been running now for around 4 years and is very good and stable but what ever box you buy you are taking a gamble, you may be better off if you wait till footie season starts and see who has the rights for epl if thats what your after, but yes the nanox is a very good buy .......BJ1....and no need for c/s

The EPL rights were all issued last season in a 3 year agreement.

if you can afford the funds then go for the hi-def protek as more packages are available and are going dvbs2 but saying that the sd version is still great vfm. regards mdt

maxx1000/legend/axx 1000 are clones of the protek/nanoxx/funbox 9600ip and have the same os ect ect but buyer beware as these clones are not 100% to connect to the server as they were made originally for the m.e. server and there are still these floating about... saying this i have installed over 30 maxx/axx boxs over the last 3 and a half years or so and have only had 1 that refused to connect. regards mdt
