Al Jazeera Sports Card

Hi All, im thinking of purchasing the Aljazeera sports card for the range of footie it offers. I have a technomate 6800hd super receiver and was wondering if it will be able to accept the card without an irderto cam, or will I need to purchase the cam?

Also is it the right time to buy the card? I know anything can change but I didnt want to buy a card if anyone knows of any impending encryption/broadcaster changes that would render my card obselete.

Does this card have a good history in terms of reliability and people not losing acess etc.

YES YOU WILL NEED TO BUY EITHER A IRDETO CAM OR A VIACCESS CAM YES THERE IS A LOT OF SPORT ON THESE CHANNELS BUT NO PREMIER LEAGUE NO ONE KNOWS HOW LONG THESE WILL LAST HOW LONG IS A PIECE OF STRING IF THE WORST HAPPENS YOU CAN USUALLY PAY ABOUT 30 QUID TO UPGRADE THE CARD THATS THE WORST

Thank you all for the advice. Is anyone able to recommend a shop to buy the card that is good in terms of support?

There are 2 kinds of Al jazeera card, 1 includes the HD channels and one doesnt. I didnt know whether to go for the HD one in case the HD channels appear on Hotbird in the near future.

I bought a renewal a few months back and ebay was the cheapest place both for renewals and new cards. I got mine if tech digital on ebay.
