Picking up 1w/13e/19.2e on a Sky dish?

Just a quickie guys. Im moving house to somewhere thats a bit fussy about dishes going up, so might have to knock my 80cm motorised on the head (grr). Just wondering if thor,13e and 19.2 can be picked up on a sky dish? Was thinking of just using that on a motor in the worst case scenario..

    Cheers.

would they allow a multi bracket on the dish i use that for 13e+19.2e+23.5e+28.2e not on a sky dish, but a triax dish .

you would be pushing it with a standard sky mini dish especially in poor weather 28.2 / 19.2 and 13.0 should be ok but i would not expect to receive much on 0.8 west. best to either go with a triax dish and multi lnb setup ( can be very costly ) but once setup works fantastically or use a bigger dish with a motor, minimum 80 Cm's

This is a list of satellites that I have been able to pick up using a very old sly mini dish which I motorised. The dish is some years old and had a arm type bracket not a pole type. It was mounted on a 4ft pole attached to a parasol base. No meters where used just the meter in a tm1500. I am in West Yorkshire.

          30w.

          22w

          15w

          5w

          1w no watchable signals

          5e

          7e

          13e

          19e

          23.5e

          28.2e

The dish was in a less than ideal position, but it gives a guide to what satellites can be picked up. I think if I have the choice I would change the dish for a more conventional 60cm dish or above.

          ki

          ..............................

I also believe that some have picked up 1w on a mini dish, but I was unable.

You don't say where you're from or moving to but you are probably entitled to up to 1m. dish.Unless you're about to come under some estate management rules in your new home then go for it. Even an 80cm would/should get you 1w.

              Cheers for the replies guys..

Yeah sorry I forgot - Im up in the NW of England. Currently have an 80cm motorised and get thor no probs, my problem is that the place im going to is a new build house and they are a bit fussy about dishes as it is, let alone 80cm things.. I was just asking as a worse case scenario what I can expect from a motorised mini dish. I think I will be able to wanlge a 60cm motorised, but 80cm they might get a bit shirty

under national planning you are allowed 2 dishes one upto 60cm and one upto 1mt and unless there is a restrictive covenant in the deeds thats what you can put up someone just not liking you putting a dish up is no reason not to.

Well I think in this new estate where I am moving to its in the contract when you buy the house. Im going to go over them with a fine toothcomb, but I cant afford to lose the house over a satellite dish - but I also cant afford to lose saturday 3pm kickoffs
