Sky+ problem

Just got back from a couple of days away and cannot get sky+ box to syart up. There is power getting to it but it won't turn on. Any suggestions?

Yes & it's their nice price aswell for a call out charge.

I would unplug at the wall & leave for 1 min, then plug back in.

Then wait another 1 min with the red light on, then press the
sky button & it should then come on.

sky+ problem

ITS THE ELECTORLIC CAPS IN THE POWER SUPPLY BLOW IF YOU OPEN UP THE BOX YOU WILL SEE 2 TO 5 CAPS WITH BLOATED TOPS. IF YOU GET REPLACEMENT CAPS AND REPLACE THEM IT SHOULD BE BACK IN WORKING ORDER. YOU CAN GET THESE FROM MAPLINS. WARNING HIGH VOTAGE IN THE LARGE CAP DO NOT TOUCH OR GROUND THE PINS, STILL A COUPLE OHF HUNDRED VOLTS STORED WITH GIVE YOU A HELL OF A BELT.OR GET IT FIXED BY ENGINEER ABOUT ?30.00 DEPEND HOW GREEDY HE IS !
