not much to experiment with on these, but it get you into this hobby. they are more or less plug and play, if your looking to upgrade to to say vu duo etc, start research before you buy on how to configure, as openbox should take 10 mins max to suss, piece of piss to configure, others will take a bit longer.

Go for a DM 800HD clone....and don't buy it from China directly....you will have very little after sales support..for cheap anyway.
Many sat sites will sell you one. This box will give you Cccam, lines, cam etc and if your lucky a local reseller.

PM me if you need a link or two, if you can't find one yourself. I'm not a dealer, but do have one...it works for me.

How long do u think the s10 will last for? Should the dm800 last the same amount of time since they both run on enigma 2.

Is enigma 2 similar to nagra 3 which bust all the eurovoxes?

how longs a peice of string?
dm boxes will ALWAYS have a large community supporting them
enigma 2 is nothing to do with nagra 3. nag3 is an encryption method, enigma 2 is the operating system of ur box

look mate, if you are ultimately looking for a twin tuner, then why spend on other boxes first.

just go for the vu+ duo or clarketech et9000.

you will spend more money taking one box at a time.

plenty of support for both boxes.

a decent twin tuner will cost ?320ish.

otherwise at ?150, i would go for a dm800hd pro purchasable from the uk. if you can wait, go for a DM800HDse from chinaland for around about the same. takes about a week or so to arrive. (both these are clone prices)

im going to have to buy 2 boxes anyway, 1 to watch football and another for 1 for rest of the family. so im going to get a cheap s10 for myself to watch football and later on/depending on the price i'll get a dm800hd.

how much can i get a dm800hd from china, vat and everything included?

twin tuner not a breaking deal, budget is. they just out of my price range. ?300 for a receiver is ludicrous, i would never pay that much, and then ontop of that a motorised dish installation and then cline subscription. total would be in excess ?600

Motorised dish including install ?250ish tops.
                        dm800hd ?130ish
                        euro line ?15month

=?560 for the 1st year. then ongoing ?180ish per year and you get all the telly you want and will ever need.

                        V

going to a game ?40ish travel ?25+. food....and so on. (no great replay angles either)

                        V
