I am looking to buy a complete system but have not made up my mind with what receiver I am getting. However I went into a shop yesterday to browse around and I heard the owner saying you can only pay by cash which does not sound right to me.

A lot of the reputable sat firms also trade on eBay. You can get some reasonably priced full packages there. Maybe worth a look.

Thanks for the advice,I have since bought the blade media bm7000s.I am after a dish now.Since I am a newbie to satellites on the whole,I ask which is better,a motorized one or a fixed one with more than one lnbs connected.

A multi lnb is a good choice but personally very limited go for a motor u will pay a bit more but will have less problems and a far better scope the more sats u receive dont hesitate m8 get a motor 9000 channels and counting

That's where I ended up buying my receiver.

Thanks for your advice, will definitely be purchasing one in a couple days.If anyone sees a good deal on an 80cm motorised dish please don't hesitate to inform me.

Just have to read up now on how to install it yourself.
