    A little advice

    Hi,

    I have been receiving cable channels for about a year using a Kryptview box but am moving to a non-cable area soon. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a satellite receiver which can get "all the channels" and has a built in dvr? I have quite a low budget of about ?150 to a max of ?200.

    Thanks

    Ryan

    Note: DVR is not neccessary, it is just a feature i would like if it doesn't dramatically increase the price!

      All linux boxes will do the Job needing done. A lot of forum users are using the DM800 Pro. It's a HD PVR box and has tons of support, AND you should get one for less than ?150.

        If you might find this thread useful;

        On cable once the right firmware was loaded you could sit back and enjoy the tv unfortunately its not that simple on satellite.
