Im new to this so bear with me. Im thinking of moving from Kryptview to the Sat side of things but a lot of the stuff ive been reading has went right over my head. I was going to buy a Blade 7000 box but what sat size would i need, would it have to be motorised etc. Im in Dundee if that helps. Also, i have a friend who works for sky and has offered to put up my dish when i receive it. Would a sky dish and set up work with the blade?

if you are only wanting it for 28.2 then a normal sky dish is fine

as mentioned the sly zone 2 dish will be fine for sly on 28e , as long as you get yourself kitted out with a cs addition from somewhere

if you did the above but also wanted other satellites for 3pm kickoffs etc then you want a 1 metre motorised dish system with a cs to suit

so buying a blade and putting up a sly dish will only give you the freebie freesat channels on 28e , nothing that is scrambled so not like your krypt manages with its free internet feed

I was wanting as many sats as i can possibly pick up. The sky set up isnt compulsory, just though it would be easier if he did it.To be honest, i was looking for the 3pm football kick offs etc

Setanta only shows 1 3pm game a week every Sat, if you want more then you will need a bigger dish i think

Does the 28.2 channel list have the interactive section?
