    satellite route

    hi everyone,
I just need some advice as i want to switch from cable(kryptview) to satellite. I know some good amount about the cable scene and been reading about the satellite route and it seems to be more stable at the moment.
Okay all i want to know is what is the best (cheapest) satellite set up i can get? Will like HD channels, movies and sports to watch the footy. If someone can pm me that will be great and who wants to buy a kryptview
    Thanks

to begin with, all you need is a sly dish,a hd receiver such as openbox s10 and a cline.
get the first two, then come back and im sure you'll have some helpful pms from some mebers

I was in the same predicament as you. After a bit of research, I went down the Sat route and bought Blade 7000s HD.

Not the cheapest option but the quality is great and easy to setup and my only regret is that I should have done it much earlier.

      Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies. Sakoni2001 if you don't mind me asking what set up have you got with the blade? It looks like a good box. Any glitching/freezing/channels going on and off?
I read that it is better to invest in a motorized dish to get more channels?

I have got a fixed dish which is good enough for me. Any glitching/freezing/channels going on and off will depend on the clines. I am extremely happy with the quality.

if you go the mororised dish route for more channels that maybe a bigger package, than a fixed dish.dont want to talk too much about it as its a taboo subject.
a hd box will be better for quality if you have a good hd tv
